✧ We entered upon 'A'ishah and said: O Mother of the Believers, tell us about the illness of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. She said: He fell ill and began to breathe with a blowing sound, so we likened his breathing to the breathing of one who has eaten raisins. He used to go around to his wives, and when he became ill with his final illness, he asked their permission to stay in 'A'ishah's house while they would come to him. They gave him permission. Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ entered upon me, leaning between two men, one of whom was 'Abbas, with his feet dragging on the ground. Ibn 'Abbas said: Did she not tell you who the other one was? He said: No. He said: It was 'Ali.
