✧ Abd b. Zam'ah and Sa'd b. Abi Waqqas disputed before the Prophet ﷺ concerning the son of Zam'ah's slave woman. Abd said: "O Messenger of Allah, he is my brother, the son of my father's slave woman, born on my father's bed." Sa'd said: "My brother instructed me: When you reach Makkah, look for the son of Zam'ah's slave woman and take him, for he is my son." The Prophet ﷺ saw a clear resemblance to Utbah, and said: "He is yours, O Abd. The child belongs to the bed, and veil yourself from him, O Sawdah."
