The Messenger of Allah ﷺ entered ihram for Hajj. Those who entered ihram for Umrah came out of ihram when they had performed tawaf around the House and between al-Safa and al-Marwah. Those who entered ihram for Hajj or for both Hajj and Umrah did not come out of ihram until the Day of Sacrifice.

machine translationSomeone else claimed that this is a mistake on the part of ʿUrwah, and that the correct version is the narration of al-Aswad, al-Qāsim and ʿAmrah from her, that she entered the state of iḥrām for Ḥajj alone (ifrād).
