حَدَّثَنَا زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ عَدِيٍّ قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عَمْرٍو الرُّقِّيُّ عَنْ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ رَاشِدٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْحَمِيدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ زَيْدِ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ عَنْ عَوْفِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَ
أَتَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ بِتَبُوكَ مِنْ آخِرِ السَّحَرِ وَهُوَ فِي فُسْطَاطٍ أَوْ قَالَ قُبَّةٍ مِنْ أَدَمٍ قَالَ فَسَأَلْتُ ثُمَّ اسْتَأْذَنْتُ فَقُلْتُ أَدْخُلُ؟ فَقَالَ ادْخُلْ قُلْتُ كُلِّي؟ قَالَ كُلُّكَ قَالَ فَدَخَلْتُ وَإِذَا هُوَ يَتَوَضَّأُ وُضُوءًا مَكِيثًا

✧ I came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ at Tabuk at the end of the night, while he was in a tent, or he said a dome of leather. He said, 'I asked permission and said, 'May I enter?' He said, 'Enter.' I said, 'All of me?' He said, 'All of you.' He said, 'I entered and he was performing ablution in a deliberate manner.'
