وَبِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ عَنْ فَضَالَةَ بْنِ عُبَيْدٍ قَالَ
سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ كُلُّ مَيِّتٍ يُخْتَمُ عَلَى عَمَلِهِ إِلَّا الَّذِي مَاتَ مُرَابِطًا فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ فَإِنَّهُ يَنْمُو عَمَلُهُ إِلَى يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ وَيَأْمَنُ فِتْنَةَ الْقَبْرِ
Translation
Chain of narrators
- Faḍālah b. ʿUbayd
✧ I heard the Messenger of God ﷺ say: Every deceased person's deeds are sealed, except for the one who died as a murabit (frontier guard) in the path of God, for his deeds will grow until the Day of Resurrection, and he will be safe from the trial of the grave.
