حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكٌ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ دَخَلَ الْكَعْبَةَ وَعُثْمَانُ بْنُ طَلْحَةَ وَأُسَامَةُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ وَبِلَالٌ قَدْ غَلَقَهَا فَلَمَّا خَرَجَ سَأَلْتُ بِلَالًا مَاذَا صَنَعَ النَّبِيُّ؟ قَالَ تَرَكَ عَمُودَيْنِ عَنْ يَمِينِهِ وَعَمُودًا عَنْ يَسَارِهِ وَثَلَاثَةَ أَعْمِدَةٍ خَلْفَهُ ثُمَّ صَلَّى وَبَيْنَهُ وَبَيْنَ الْقِبْلَةِ ثَلَاثَةُ أَذْرُعٍ
Translation

✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ entered the Kaʿbah with ʿUthmān b. Ṭalḥah, Usāmah b. Zayd, and Bilāl, and they shut it. When he came out, I asked Bilāl, “What did the Prophet do?” He said: He left two pillars on his right, one pillar on his left, and three pillars behind him, then he prayed, and between him and the qiblah was three cubits.
