✧ When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ came to us—meaning Quba—he said, “Indeed Allah [Mighty and Majestic] has praised you well regarding purification. Will you not tell me?” He meant His saying: “In it are men who love to purify themselves, and Allah loves those who purify themselves.” They said, “O Messenger of Allah, we find it written for us in the Torah: cleansing oneself with water after relieving oneself.”
