✧ We were discussing among ourselves and said: Which of you will go to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and ask him which deeds are most beloved to Allah? We were hesitant for any of us to stand. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ sent to us one man after another until he gathered us, and some of us began gesturing to others. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ recited to us, 'Whatever is in the heavens and the earth glorifies Allah' up to His saying, 'Grievously hateful is it in the sight of Allah.' He said: He recited it from its beginning to its end. He said: Ibn Salam recited it to us from its beginning to its end. He said: 'Ata' b. Yasar recited it to us from its beginning to its end. Yahya said: Hilal recited it to us from its beginning to its end. Al-Awza'i said: Yahya recited it to us from its beginning to its end.
