حَدَّثَنَا الْحَارِثُ بْنُ مُرَّةَ الْحَنَفِيُّ أَبُو مُرَّةَ حَدَّثَنَا نَفِيسٌ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ جَابِرٍ الْعَبْدِيِّ قَالَ
كُنْتُ فِي الْوَفْدِ الَّذِينَ أَتَوْا رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ مِنْ عَبْدِ الْقَيْسِ قَالَ: وَلَسْتُ مِنْهُمْ، وَإِنَّمَا كُنْتُ مَعَ أَبِي قَالَ: فَنَهَاهُمْ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ عَنِ الشُّرْبِ فِي الْأَوْعِيَةِ الَّتِي سَمِعْتُمُ: الدُّبَّاءِ، وَالْحَنْتَمِ، وَالنَّقِيرِ، وَالْمُزَفَّتِ
Translation

✧ I was among the delegation that came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ from Abd al-Qays. He said, 'I was not one of them; rather, I was with my father.' He said, 'The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade them from drinking from the vessels you have heard of: the gourd, the green jar, the hollowed-out stump, and the pitch-coated vessel.'
