✧ Salman besieged one of the fortresses of Persia and said to his companions: Let me do what I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ do. He praised Allah and extolled Him, then said: I am a man from among you, and Allah has granted me Islam. You see the obedience of the Arabs. If you embrace Islam and emigrate to us, you will have our status; what applies to us applies to you. If you embrace Islam and remain in your lands, you will have the status of the Bedouins; what applies to them applies to you. If you refuse and agree to the jizya, you will have what the people of the jizya have and bear what they bear. He presented that to them for three days, then said to his companions: Advance upon them. And he conquered it.
