حَدَّثَنَا شُجَاعُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ قَالَ ذَكَرَهُ قَابُوسُ بْنُ أَبِي ظَبْيَانَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ سَلْمَانَ قَالَ
قَالَ لِي رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ: يَا سَلْمَانُ، لَا تَبْغَضْنِي فَتُفَارِقَ دِينَكَ، قَالَ: قُلْتُ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، وَكَيْفَ أَبْغَضُكَ وَبِكَ هَدَانَا اللهُ ؟ قَالَ: تَبْغَضُ الْعَرَبَ فَتَبْغَضُنِي
Translation

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to me: O Salman, do not hate me and thus leave your religion. He said: I said: O Messenger of Allah, how could I hate you when through you Allah guided us? He said: You would hate the Arabs, and thus hate me.
