حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ حَرَامِ بْنِ سَاعِدَةَ بْنِ مُحَيِّصَةَ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ قَالَ

كَانَ لَهُ غُلَامٌ حَجَّامٌ يُقَالُ لَهُ: أَبُو طَيْبَةَ، يَكْسِبُ كَسْبًا كَثِيرًا، فَلَمَّا نَهَى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ عَنْ كَسْبِ الْحَجَّامِ، اسْتَرْخَصَ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ فِيهِ، فَأَبَى عَلَيْهِ، فَلَمْ يَزَلْ يُكَلِّمُهُ فِيهِ وَيَذْكُرُ لَهُ الْحَاجَةَ، حَتَّى قَالَ لَهُ: لِتُلْقِ كَسْبَهُ فِي بَطْنِ نَاضِحِكَ

Translation

✧ He had a cupper slave called Abu Taybah, who earned much income. When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade the earnings of a cupper, he sought a concession from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, but he refused. He kept speaking to him about it and mentioned his need, until he said: 'Throw his earnings into the belly of your water-carrying camel.'
