✧ I went with a man from the Ansar to a man among the Companions of the Prophet ﷺ. We said: 'Tell us what you heard from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ regarding the Dajjal, and do not tell us about other than him, even if it is considered truthful.' He said: 'The Prophet ﷺ addressed us and said: "I have warned you three times about the Dajjal, for there was no prophet before me except that he warned his nation about him. Indeed, he is among you, O this nation. Indeed, he is curly-haired, dark-skinned, with his left eye wiped out. With him is a paradise and a fire; his fire is a paradise and his paradise is a fire. With him is a mountain of bread and a river of water. Indeed, he brings down rain but does not cause plants to grow. Indeed, he is given power over a single soul and kills it, but he is not given power over anyone else. Indeed, he will remain on the earth for forty mornings, reaching every watering place in that time, but he will not approach four mosques: the Sacred Mosque, the Mosque of Madinah, the Mosque of Tur, and the Mosque of al-Aqsa. And lest you be confused: indeed your Lord is not one-eyed.""
