حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي عَدِيٍّ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ حَدَّثَنِي عَاصِمُ بْنُ عُمَرَ بْنِ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ مَحْمُودِ بْنِ لَبِيدٍ قَالَ

أَتَى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ بَنِي عَبْدِ الْأَشْهَلِ، فَصَلَّى بِهِمُ الْمَغْرِبَ، فَلَمَّا سَلَّمَ قَالَ: ارْكَعُوا هَاتَيْنِ الرَّكْعَتَيْنِ فِي بُيُوتِكُمْ

Translation

  1. Ibn Abū ʿAdī
  2. Muḥammad b. Isḥāq
  3. ʿĀṣim b. ʿUmar b. Qatādah
  4. Maḥmūd b. Labīd

✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ came to Banū ʿAbd al-Ashhal and prayed maghrib with them. When he said the salām, he said: “Perform these two rakʿahs in your homes.”
