حَدَّثَنَا عَبِيدَةُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي وَاقِدٌ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْخَيَّاطُ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ
أُهْدِيَ لِرَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ سَمْنٌ وَأَقِطٌ وَضَبٌّ، فَأَكَلَ السَّمْنَ وَالْأَقِطَ، ثُمَّ قَالَ لِلضَّبِّ: إِنَّ هَذَا الشَّيْءَ مَا أَكَلْتُهُ قَطُّ، فَمَنْ شَاءَ أَنْ يَأْكُلَهُ فَلْيَأْكُلْهُ، قَالَ: فَأُكِلَ عَلَى خِوَانِهِ

✧ Clarified butter, cheese, and a dabb lizard were gifted to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. He ate the clarified butter and the cheese, then said about the dabb: "I have never eaten this thing, so whoever wishes may eat it." He said: So it was eaten at his table.
