✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ stood among us on a red, slit-eared camel and said: 'Do you know which day is this day of yours?' He said: We said: 'The day of sacrifice.' He said: 'You have spoken truth, the day of the greater pilgrimage. Do you know which month is this month of yours?' We said: 'Dhu al-Hijjah.' He said: 'You have spoken truth, the deaf month of Allah. Do you know which land is this land of yours?' He said: We said: 'The sacred Mash'ar.' He said: 'You have spoken truth.' [He said:] 'Indeed your blood and your wealth are sacred to you, like the sanctity of this day of yours, in this month of yours, in this land of yours' - or he said: 'like the sanctity of this day of yours, and this month of yours, and this land of yours.' 'Indeed I am your forerunner at the Basin, watching for you, and I will multiply nations through you, so do not blacken my face. Indeed you have seen me and heard from me, and you will be asked about me. Whoever lies about me, let him take his seat in the Fire. Indeed I will rescue men or people, or others will be rescued from me, and I will say: "O Lord, my companions." It will be said: "You do not know what they introduced after you."'
