✧ We went out with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ in the funeral procession of a man from the Ansar, and I was a boy with my father. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ sat at the edge of the grave and began instructing the digger, saying, 'Widen from the side of the head and widen from the side of the feet, for perhaps there is a cluster of dates for him in Paradise.'

Kulayb, from Abū Burdah, from Abū Mūsā, and he erred in it (wahima fīhi). The correct version is from ʿĀṣim b. Kulayb, from his father, from a man of the Anṣār, from the Prophet ﷺ.
