✧ Hudhayfah b. al-Yaman about the Prophet ﷺ

حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ عَنْ إِسْرَائِيلَ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ قَالَ
قُلْنَا لِحُذَيْفَةَ: أَخْبِرْنَا عَنْ أَقْرَبِ النَّاسِ سَمْتًا بِرَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ نَأْخُذْ عَنْهُ وَنَسْمَعْ مِنْهُ. فَقَالَ: كَانَ أَشْبَهُ النَّاسِ سَمْتًا وَدَلًّا وَهَدْيًا مِنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ ابْنَ أُمِّ عَبْدٍ.

✧ Tell us about the closest person to the Prophet Muhammad, ﷺ, from whom we can learn and hear from. He said: "The closest person to the Prophet Muhammad, ﷺ, in terms of appearance, guidance, and righteousness, was his son, Ibn Umm Abd."
