✧ Hudhayfah b. al-Yaman about the Prophet ﷺ

حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ صِلَةَ بْنِ زُفَرَ عَنْ حُذَيْفَةَ قَالَ
جَاءَ الْعَاقِبُ وَالسَّيِّدُ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَقَالَاأَرْسِلْ مَعَنَا رَجُلًا أَمِينًا فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ سَأُرْسِلُ مَعَكُمَا رَجُلًا أَمِينًا أَمِينًا أَمِينًا قَالَ فَجَثَا لَهَا أَصْحَابُ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ عَلَى الرُّكَبِ قَالَ فَبَعَثَ أَبَا عُبَيْدَةَ بْنَ الْجَرَّاحِ

✧ Al-ʿĀqib and al-Sayyid came to the Prophet ﷺ and said, “Send a trustworthy man with us.” The Prophet ﷺ said, “I will send with you a trustworthy man, a trustworthy man, a trustworthy man.” The Companions of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ knelt for it. Then he sent Abū ʿUbaydah b. al-Jarrāḥ.
