✧ Hudhayfah b. al-Yaman about the Prophet ﷺ

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ يَزِيدَ حَدَّثَنَا حَيْوَةُ حَدَّثَنِي بَكْرُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو أَنَّ أَبَا عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ عَلِيَّ بْنَ يَزِيدَ الدِّمَشْقِيَّ حَدَّثَهُ أَنَّهُ بَلَغَهُ عَنْ حُذَيْفَةَ

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَنَّهُ قَالَ إِنَّ فَضْلَ الدَّارِ الْقَرِيبَةِ يَعْنِي مِنَ الْمَسْجِدِ عَلَى الدَّارِ الْبَعِيدَةِ كَفَضْلِ الْغَازِي عَلَى الْقَاعِدِ

✧ From the Prophet ﷺ, that he said: 'The virtue of the nearby house'—meaning from the mosque—'over the distant house is like the virtue of the warrior over the one who stays behind.'
