✧ Hudhayfah b. al-Yaman about the Prophet ﷺ

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أَخْبَرَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ عَنْ أَبِي وَائِلٍ عَنْ حُذَيْفَةَ قَالَ
قَامَ فِينَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مَقَامًا مَا تَرَكَ فِيهِ شَيْئًا يَكُونُ قَبْلَ السَّاعَةِ إِلَّا قَدْ ذَكَرَهُ حَفِظَهُ مَنْ حَفِظَهُ وَنَسِيَهُ مَنْ نَسِيَهُ إِنِّي لَأَرَى الشَّيْءَ فَأَذْكُرُهُ كَمَا يَعْرِفُ الرَّجُلُ وَجْهَ الرَّجُلِ غَابَ عَنْهُ ثُمَّ رَآهُ فَعَرَفَهُ

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ stood among us in a stance in which he did not leave out anything that would occur before the Hour except that he mentioned it. Whoever memorized it memorized it, and whoever forgot it forgot it. Indeed, I see a thing and I remember it as a man remembers the face of a man who was absent from him, then he saw him and recognized him.
