حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو النَّضْرِ حَدَّثَنَا الْمَسْعُودِيُّ عَنْ مُهَاجِرٍ أَبِي الْحَسَنِ عَنْ شَيْخٍ أَدْرَكَ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ
خَرَجْتُ مَعَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فِي سَفَرٍ، فَمَرَّ بِرَجُلٍ يَقْرَأُ قُلْ يَا أَيُّهَا الْكَافِرُونَ فَقَالَ: أَمَّا هَذَا فَقَدْ بَرِئَ مِنَ الشِّرْكِ قَالَ: وَإِذَا آخَرُ يَقْرَأُ قُلْ هُوَ اللهُ أَحَدٌ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ: بِهَا وَجَبَتْ لَهُ الْجَنَّةُ

✧ I went out with the Prophet ﷺ on a journey. He passed by a man reciting 'Say: O disbelievers,' and he said: 'As for this one, he has disavowed polytheism.' He said: And another was reciting 'Say: He is God, the One,' and the Prophet ﷺ said: 'By it, Paradise became obligatory for him.'
