✧ We had Junada b. Abi Umayya over us for six years. He stood up and addressed us, saying: "We came to a man from the Ansar, one of the companions of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and entered upon him. We said: 'Tell us what you heard from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and do not tell us what you heard from people.' We pressed him, and he said: 'The Messenger of Allah ﷺ stood among us and said: "I warn you of the Dajjal, and he is blind in the eye"—I think he said: "the left one"—"with him will travel mountains of bread and rivers of water. His sign is that he will remain on earth for forty mornings, his authority reaching every watering place. He will not come to four mosques: the Kaaba, the Mosque of the Messenger, the Aqsa Mosque, and al-Tur. And whatever of that happens, know that Allah, Mighty and Majestic, is not one-eyed." Ibn Awn said: I think he also said: "He will be given power over a man and kill him, then bring him back to life, but he will not be given power over anyone else."'"
