حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ عَنْ رِبْعِيِّ بْنِ حِرَاشٍ عَنْ بَعْضِ أَصْحَابِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ

أَصْبَحَ النَّاسُ صِيَامًا لِتَمَامِ ثَلَاثِينَ، قَالَ: فَجَاءَ أَعْرَابِيَّانِ، فَشَهِدَا أَنَّهُمَا أَهَلَّا الْهِلَالَ بِالْأَمْسِ، فَأَمَرَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ النَّاسَ، فَأَفْطَرُوا

Translation

✧ The people began the fast to complete thirty days. He said: Then two bedouins came and testified that they had sighted the new moon the previous evening. So the Messenger of God ﷺ commanded the people, and they broke their fast.
