حَدَّثَنَا أَسْبَاطٌ عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْبَيْلَمَانِيِّ عَنْ بَعْضِ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ يَقُولُ
مَنْ تَابَ إِلَى اللهِ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَمُوتَ بِيَوْمٍ قَبِلَ اللهُ مِنْهُ. قَالَ: فَحَدَّثَهُ رَجُلًا مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ آخَرَ بِهَذَا، فَقَالَ: آنْتَ سَمِعْتَ هَذَا مِنْهُ؟ قَالَ: قُلْتُ: نَعَمْ قَالَ: فَأَشْهَدُ أَنِّي سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ: مَنْ تَابَ إِلَى اللهِ [عَزَّ وَجَلَّ] قَبْلَ أَنْ يَمُوتَ بِنِصْفِ يَوْمٍ قَبِلَ اللهُ مِنْهُ. قَالَ: فَحَدَّثَهَا رَجُلًا آخَرَ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ، فَقَالَ: أَنْتَ سَمِعْتَ هَذَا؟ قَالَ: نَعَمْ، قَالَ: فَأَشْهَدُ أَنِّي سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ: مَنْ تَابَ إِلَى اللهِ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَمُوتَ بِضَحْوَةٍ قَبِلَ اللهُ مِنْهُ قَالَ: فَحَدَّثَهُ رَجُلًا آخَرَ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ، فَقَالَ: أَنْتَ سَمِعْتَ هَذَا مِنْهُ؟ قَالَ: نَعَمْ، قَالَ: فَأَشْهَدُ أَنِّي سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ: مَنْ تَابَ قَبْلَ أَنْ يُغَرْغِرَ نَفْسُهُ قَبِلَ اللهُ مِنْهُ

✧ Whoever repents to God one day before he dies, God will accept it from him. He said: A man among the companions of the Prophet ﷺ told another this, and he said: Did you hear this from him? He said: I said: Yes. He said: I bear witness that I heard the Messenger of God ﷺ say: Whoever repents to God, Mighty and Majestic, half a day before he dies, God will accept it from him. He said: Another man among the companions of the Prophet ﷺ told it, and he said: Did you hear this? He said: Yes. He said: I bear witness that I heard the Messenger of God ﷺ say: Whoever repents to God a forenoon before he dies, God will accept it from him. He said: Another man among the companions of the Messenger of God ﷺ told him, and he said: Did you hear this from him? He said: Yes. He said: I bear witness that I heard the Messenger of God ﷺ say: Whoever repents before his soul reaches the throat, God will accept it from him.

سفيان بن سعيد رضي الله عنه وإن كان أحفظ من الدراوردي وهشام بن سعد فإنه لم يذكر سماعه في هذا الحديث من ابن البيلماني ولا زيد بن أسلم إنما ذكر إجازة ومكاتبة فالقول فيه قول من قال عن زيد بن أسلم عن ابن البيلماني عن رجل من أصحاب النبي صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم وقد شفى عبد الله بن نافع المدني فبين في روايته عن هشام بن سعد أن الصحابي عبد الله بن عمرو بن العاص رضي الله عنهما
