حَدَّثَنَا زَيْدٌ حَدَّثَنِي حُسَيْنٌ حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ بُرَيْدَةَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبِي بُرَيْدَةَ يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ
فِي الْإِنْسَانِ سِتُّونَ وَثَلَاثُ مِائَةِ مَفْصِلٍ، فَعَلَيْهِ أَنْ يَتَصَدَّقَ عَنْ كُلِّ مَفْصِلٍ مِنْهَا صَدَقَةً، قَالُوا: فَمَنِ الَّذِي يُطِيقُ ذَلِكَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ؟ قَالَ: النُّخَاعَةُ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ تَدْفِنُهَا، أَوِ الشَّيْءُ تُنَحِّيهِ عَنِ الطَّرِيقِ، فَإِنْ لَمْ تَقْدِرْ، فَرَكْعَتَا الضُّحَى تُجْزِئُ عَنْكَ.

✧ In a human being there are three hundred sixty joints; he must give charity for each joint. They said, "Who can do that, O Messenger of God?" He said, "Spittle in the mosque that you bury, or something you remove from the road. If you cannot, then the two rak'ahs of the forenoon will suffice for you."
