✧ He was with the Messenger of God ﷺ among forty-two of his companions, and the Prophet ﷺ was praying at the Maqam, while they were seated behind him waiting for him. When he finished praying, he reached out between himself and the Kaaba as if he wanted to take something. Then he turned to his companions, and they rose, but he gestured to them with his hand to sit, so they sat. He said: "Did you see me when I finished my prayer reaching out between myself and the Kaaba as if I wanted to take something?" They said: "Yes, O Messenger of God." He said: "Paradise was displayed before me, and I have never seen the like of what is in it. A bunch of grapes passed by me and impressed me, so I reached out to take it, but it eluded me. Had I taken it, I would have planted it among you so that you could eat from the fruit of Paradise. Know that truffles are a remedy for the eye, that ajwa dates are from the fruits of Paradise, and that this black seed that is in salt—know that it is a cure for every disease except death."
