✧ One day I went out for some need, and there was the Prophet ﷺ walking ahead of me. He took me by the hand, and we walked together. Then, in front of us, there was a man praying, performing many bowings and prostrations. The Prophet ﷺ said: 'Do you think he is showing off?' I said: 'Allah and His Messenger know best.' He let go of my hand, then clasped his hands together and began lowering and raising them, saying: 'You must follow a moderate course, you must follow a moderate course, you must follow a moderate course. For whoever contends with this religion will be overcome by it.'
