حَدَّثَنَا أَسْوَدُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرٌ عَنْ وَاصِلِ بْنِ حَيَّانَ الْبَجَلِيِّ حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ بُرَيْدَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ

الْكَمْأَةُ دَوَاءٌ لِلْعَيْنِ، وَإِنَّ الْعَجْوَةَ مِنْ فَاكِهَةِ الْجَنَّةِ، وَإِنَّ هَذِهِ الْحَبَّةَ السَّوْدَاءَ - قَالَ ابْنُ بُرَيْدَةَ: يَعْنِي: الشُّونِيزَ الَّذِي يَكُونُ فِي الْمِلْحِ - دَوَاءٌ مِنْ كُلِّ دَاءٍ إِلَّا الْمَوْتَ

Translation

✧ Truffles are a remedy for the eye, and 'ajwah dates are from the fruits of Paradise, and this black seed—Ibn Buraydah said: meaning the black cumin that is in salt—is a remedy for every disease except death.
