حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنٌ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ حَدَّثَنَا بَكْرُ بْنُ سَوَادَةَ عَنْ وَفَاءِ بْنِ شُرَيْحٍ الصَّدَفِيِّ عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ فِيكُمْ كِتَابُ اللهِ يَتَعَلَّمُهُ الْأَسْوَدُ وَالْأَحْمَرُ وَالْأَبْيَضُ تَعَلَّمُوهُ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَأْتِيَ زَمَانٌ يَتَعَلَّمُهُ أُنَاسٌ وَلَا يُجَاوِزُ تَرَاقِيَهُمْ وَيُقَوِّمُونَهُ كَمَا يُقَوَّمُ السَّهْمُ فَيَتَعَجَّلُونَ أَجْرَهُ وَلَا يَتَأَجَّلُونَهُ
Translation

✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ said: "Among you is the Book of God—the black, the red, and the white learn it. Learn it before a time comes when people learn it but it does not go beyond their collarbones, and they straighten it as an arrow is straightened, seeking its reward hastily and not deferring it."
