حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ أَبِي حَازِمٍ
عَنْ سَهْلٍ بِأَيِّ شَيْءٍ دُووِيَ جُرْحُ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ؟ قَالَ كَانَ عَلِيٌّ يَجِيءُ بِالْمَاءِ فِي تُرْسِهِ وَفَاطِمَةُ تَغْسِلُ الدَّمَ عَنْ وَجْهِهِ وَأَخَذَ حَصِيرًا فَأَحْرَقَهُ فَحَشَا بِهِ جُرْحَهُ
Translation

✧ From Sahl: With what was the wound of the Messenger of God ﷺ treated? He said: ʿAlī would bring water in his shield, and Fāṭimah would wash the blood from his face. Then he took a reed mat, burned it, and packed his wound with it.
