✧ I entered upon the Messenger of Allah ﷺ to visit him when he was ill, and he had pain whose severity only Allah [Blessed and Exalted] knew. Then I entered upon him in the evening, and he had recovered in the best manner. I said to him: I entered upon you in the morning with pain whose severity only Allah knew, and I enter upon you in the evening and you have recovered? He said: O Ibn al-Ṣāmit, Jibrīl ﷺ treated me with a ruqyah and I recovered. Shall I teach it to you? I said: Yes. He said: In the name of Allah, I treat you with a ruqyah from everything that harms you, from the envy of every envious person and from the evil eye. In the name of Allah, may He heal you.
