حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ بْنُ عَمْرٍو حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ يَعْنِي ابْنَ عَقِيلٍ عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ عُبَادَةَ بْنِ الصَّامِتِ أَنَّهُ قَالَ
يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، أَخْبِرْنَا عَنْ لَيْلَةِ الْقَدْرِ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ: هِيَ فِي رَمَضَانَ، الْتَمِسُوهَا فِي الْعَشْرِ الْأَوَاخِرِ؛ فَإِنَّهَا وَتْرٌ فِي إِحْدَى وَعِشْرِينَ، أَوْ ثَلَاثٍ وَعِشْرِينَ، أَوْ خَمْسٍ وَعِشْرِينَ، أَوْ سَبْعٍ وَعِشْرِينَ، أَوْ تِسْعٍ وَعِشْرِينَ، أَوْ فِي آخِرِ لَيْلَةٍ، فَمَنْ قَامَهَا إِيمَانًا وَاحْتِسَابًا غُفِرَ لَهُ مَا تَقَدَّمَ مِنْ ذَنْبِهِ وَمَا تَأَخَّرَ
Translation

✧ He said, "O Messenger of Allah, tell us about the night of Qadr." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "It is in the month of Ramadan, seek it in the last ten nights. For it is odd, either on the twenty-first, twenty-third, twenty-fifth, twenty-seventh, or twenty-ninth night. Or it may be on the last night. Whoever stands in prayer on this night with faith and seeking reward, his previous sins will be forgiven."
