حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ حَدَّثَنَا أُسَامَةُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ عَنْ عُبَادَةَ بْنِ الْوَلِيدِ بْنِ عُبَادَةَ بْنِ الصَّامِتِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ عُبَادَةَ بْنِ الصَّامِتِ قَالَ
بَايَعْنَا رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ عَلَى السَّمْعِ وَالطَّاعَةِ فِي الْعُسْرِ وَالْيُسْرِ وَالْمَنْشَطِ وَالْمَكْرَهِ، وَأَنْ لَا نُنَازِعَ الْأَمْرَ أَهْلَهُ، وَأَنْ نَقُومَ بِالْحَقِّ حَيْثُمَا كُنَّا، وَلَا نَخَافَ فِي اللهِ لَوْمَةَ لَائِمٍ

✧ We pledged allegiance to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ to hear and obey in hardship and ease, in activity and reluctance, and that we would not dispute authority with its people, and that we would uphold the truth wherever we are, and not fear in Allah the blame of any critic.
