✧ A man who had been a Christian named al-Subayy b. Maʿbad embraced Islam and wanted to go on jihad. It was said to him: 'Begin with Hajj.' Rabiʿa, and one of them said to his companion: 'This one is more astray than his family's camel.' Al-Subayy heard it and it weighed heavily on him. When he arrived, he came to Umar and mentioned that to him, and Umar said to him: 'You have been guided to the Sunnah of your Prophet.'
