حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا أَبَانُ حَدَّثَنِي يَحْيَى عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ عَنْ عُبَادَةَ بْنِ الصَّامِتِ
يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، أَرَأَيْتَ قَوْلَ اللهِ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى: لَهُمُ الْبُشْرَى فِي الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا وَفِي الآخِرَةِ، فَقَالَ: لَقَدْ سَأَلْتَنِي عَنْ شَيْءٍ مَا سَأَلَنِي عَنْهُ أَحَدٌ مِنْ أُمَّتِي - أَوْ: أَحَدٌ قَبْلَكَ - قَالَ: تِلْكَ الرُّؤْيَا الصَّالِحَةُ، يَرَاهَا الرَّجُلُ الصَّالِحُ، أَوْ تُرَى لَهُ
Translation

✧ O Messenger of Allah, have you considered the statement of Allah, the Blessed and Exalted: "For them are glad tidings in the life of this world and in the Hereafter"? He said: You have asked me about something that no one from my community—or anyone before you—has asked me about. He said: That is the righteous dream that the righteous man sees, or is seen for him.
