✧ My father, Qatadah al-Ansari

حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَجْلَانَ حَدَّثَنِي سَعِيدٌ وَعَامِرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ سُلَيْمٍ عَنْ أَبِي قَتَادَةَ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ كَانَ يَخْرُجُ وَهُوَ حَامِلٌ ابْنَةَ زَيْنَبَ عَلَى عُنُقِهِ فَيَؤُمُّ النَّاسَ، فَإِذَا رَكَعَ وَضَعَهَا، وَإِذَا قَامَ حَمَلَهَا

Translation

✧ The Prophet ﷺ would come out carrying the daughter of Zaynab on his neck and lead the people in prayer. When he bowed, he would put her down, and when he stood, he would carry her.
