حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا سَلَمَةِ بْنَ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ سَمِعَ أَبَا قَتَادَةَ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ
الرُّؤْيَا مِنَ اللهِ، وَالْحُلُمُ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ، فَإِذَا رَأَى أَحَدُكُمْ شَيْئًا يَكْرَهُهُ فَلْيَبْصُقْ عَنْ شِمَالِهِ ثَلَاثَ مَرَّاتٍ، وَلْيَسْتَعِذْ بِاللهِ مِنْ شَرِّهَا؛ فَإِنَّهَا لَنْ تَضُرَّهُ
Translation

✧ The dream is from God, and the bad dream is from Satan. So if one of you sees something he dislikes, let him spit to his left three times and seek refuge in God from its evil; for it will not harm him.
