✧ We were with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ one day, and a funeral procession passed by him, so he said: “One who is resting and one from whom people rest.” He said: We said: O Messenger of Allah, what is one who is resting and one from whom people rest? He said: “The righteous servant rests from the toil of this world and its distress to the mercy of Allah, Mighty and Majestic. And the wicked servant—the servants, the lands, the trees, and the animals rest from him.”
