✧ I used to see a dream and it would make me ill. He said: I met Abu Qatadah, and he said: 'And I too used to see a dream and it would make me ill, until I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: The righteous dream is from Allah. When one of you sees what he likes, he should not tell it except to one he loves. And when he sees what he dislikes, let him spit to his left three times and seek refuge in Allah from Satan and from its evil, and not tell anyone about it; then it will not harm him.' Hajjaj said: Shu'bah said: I said to him, 'Should he seek refuge in Allah from Satan?' He said, 'Yes.'
