✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to lead us in prayer and recite in the first two rakʿahs of the afternoon and noon prayers two surahs and the Mother of the Book. Sometimes he would make us hear a verse. In the last two rakʿahs he would recite the Mother of the Book. He would make the first rakʿah of the dawn prayer and the first rakʿah of the noon prayer lengthy.
