✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ used to lead us in prayer, reciting with us in the first two rak’ahs of the noon prayer, and he would sometimes make us hear a verse. He would lengthen the first and shorten the second, and he would do that in the dawn prayer: lengthening the first and shortening the second. And he would recite with us in the first two rak’ahs of the afternoon prayer.
