حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بِشْرٍ حَدَّثَنَا زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ أَبِي زَائِدَةَ حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ حَدَّثَنَا مُسْلِمٌ قَالَ عَبْدُ اللهِ وَسَمِعْتُ أَنَا مِنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ مَوْلَى خَالِدِ بْنِ عُرْفُطَةَ

أَنَّ خَالِدَ بْنَ عُرْفُطَةَ قَالَ لِلْمُخْتَارِ: هَذَا رَجُلٌ كَذَّابٌ، وَلَقَدْ سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ يَقُولُ: مَنْ كَذَبَ عَلَيَّ مُتَعَمِّدًا فَلْيَتَبَوَّأْ مَقْعَدَهُ مِنْ جَهَنَّمَ

✧ Khālid b. ʿUrfuṭa said to al-Mukhtār: This man is a liar. I heard the Prophet ﷺ say: Whoever deliberately lies about me, let him take his seat in Hell.
