✧ His grandfather was a companion. He went out to visit a man from among his brothers and learned of his illness. He said: He entered upon him and said: 'I have come to you as a visitor, a visitor of the sick, and a bearer of good news.' He said: 'How did you combine all this?' He said: 'I set out intending to visit you, then I learned of your illness, so it became a sick visit. I bring you good news of something I heard from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ: "If a servant is destined by Allah for a station that he cannot reach by his own deeds, Allah tests him in his body, his wealth, or his children, then grants him patience until he reaches the station that was destined for him from Allah."'
