حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنُ بْنُ مُوسَى حَدَّثَنَا عُمَارَةُ يَعْنِي ابْنَ زَاذَانَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو غَالِبٍ عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ قَالَ
كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يُوتِرُ بِتِسْعٍ حَتَّى إِذَا بَدَّنَ، وَكَثُرَ لَحْمُهُ أَوْتَرَ بِسَبْعٍ، وَصَلَّى رَكْعَتَيْنِ وَهُوَ جَالِسٌ فَقَرَأَ بِ إِذَا زُلْزِلَتِ، و قُلْ يَا أَيُّهَا الْكَافِرُونَ.

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to perform the Witr prayer with nine units, until his body became heavy, then he performed Witr with seven units. He also performed two Rak'ahs while seated, and recited "When the earth is shaken" and "Say, O disbelievers."
