حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنٌ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ عَنْ خَالِدِ بْنِ أَبِي عِمْرَانَ عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ الْبَاهِلِيِّ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ أَنَّهُ قَالَ

أَرْبَعَةٌ تَجْرِي عَلَيْهِمْ أُجُورُهُمْ بَعْدَ الْمَوْتِ مُرَابِطٌ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ، وَمَنْ عَمِلَ عَمَلًا أُجْرِيَ لَهُ مِثْلُ مَا عَمِلَ، وَرَجُلٌ تَصَدَّقَ بِصَدَقَةٍ فَأَجْرُهَا لَهُ مَا جَرَتْ، وَرَجُلٌ تَرَكَ وَلَدًا صَالِحًا فَهُوَ يَدْعُو لَهُ

Translation

✧ Four people have their rewards continue after death: a person stationed in the way of Allah, and whoever does a deed will have the like of what he did recorded for him; a man who gives charity, its reward continues for him as long as it continues; and a man who leaves a righteous child who supplicates for him.
