حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ عَنْ شِمْرٍ عَنْ شَهْرِ بْنِ حَوْشَبٍ عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ:
إِذَا تَوَضَّأَ الرَّجُلُ الْمُسْلِمُ خَرَجَتْ ذُنُوبُهُ مِنْ سَمْعِهِ، وَبَصَرِهِ، وَيَدَيْهِ، وَرِجْلَيْهِ، فَإِنْ قَعَدَ قَعَدَ مَغْفُورًا لَهُ
Translation

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "When a Muslim man performs wuḍūʾ (ritual ablution), his sins are removed from his hearing, his sight, his hands, and his legs. If he sits down, he will sit down forgiven.”
