حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ حَدَّثَنِي الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ النَّرْسِيُّ وَهَنَّادُ بْنُ السَّرِيِّ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْأَحْوَصِ عَنْ سِمَاكٍ عَنْ قَبِيصَةَ بْنِ هُلْبٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَؤُمُّنَا فَيَأْخُذُ شِمَالَهُ بِيَمِينِهِ، وَكَانَ يَنْصَرِفُ عَنْ جَانِبَيْهِ جَمِيعًا عَنْ يَمِينِهِ وَعَنْ شِمَالِهِ.

Translation

✧ The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ used to lead us in prayer, taking his left hand with his right. He would turn away from both sides, from his right and his left.
