حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْمُنْكَدِرِ عَنْ رَجُلٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ حَنْظَلَةَ بْنِ الرَّاهِبِ

أَنَّ رَجُلًا سَلَّمَ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ وَقَدْ بَالَ، فَلَمْ يَرُدَّ عَلَيْهِ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ حَتَّى قَالَ بِيَدِهِ إِلَى الْحَائِطِ يَعْنِي أَنَّهُ تَيَمَّمَ.

Translation

✧ A man greeted the Prophet ﷺ and he had an ailment, but the Prophet ﷺ did not reply to him until he motioned with his hand towards the wall, meaning that he had performed Tayammum.
