✧ I was present with my masters at Khaybar, and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ ordered that I be given a sword to wear, and there I was dragging it. He said: It was said to him: "He is a slave, owned." He said: So he ordered that I be given some odds and ends of household goods. He said: And I presented to him a ruqyah (incantation) with which I used to treat the insane in the Jahiliyyah. He said: "Discard from it such-and-such, and use what remains as a ruqyah." Muhammad b. Zayd said: I met him while he was using it as a ruqyah for the insane.
